Daniel doesn’t hold back when spilling the details about kissing Emma and says he was shocked at how passionate their embrace was!
Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson get a little bit closer in first installment of the last Harry Potter movie, The Deathly Hallows, which opens worldwide this week. They shared an intimate moment during filming as their characters Harry Potter and Hermione Granger kiss during a vision that Rupert Grint’s character Ron Weasly has — and Daniel did not seem to like it!
“She really went for it, I have to say,” Daniel said in an interview. “It caught me slightly off guard, but yeah, I’m not complaining. Many men would lose a limb to be in that position, so I was absolutely fine with it.”
Director David Yates agrees with Daniel; “That was mainly Emma, I have to say.”
But for Emma, it was strictly business – she was just trying to get the filming done! She says that after their first take, David told her he wanted to see a really passionate kiss. “I guess I just realized that I would have fewer takes to do if I just got on with it,” she says.
Rupert was there during the filming of the kiss scene, and he was reportedly in a giggling fit about watching two of his best friends get so up close and personal!
We can’t wait to see the finished steamy scene in this highly anticipated movie!
