Just because she’s due to give birth soon doesn’t mean that Ali Larter is sacrificing style. The mom-to-be refuses to trade in her high heels for more sensible shoes!

Ali Larter must live by the mantra that beauty is pain. There is no way that the bumpalicious star’s feet aren’t throbbing! Most pregnant women can’t even wear their shoes because their feet are so swollen, but not Ali. She’s still willingly slipping into stilettos for a date night with her husband, Hayes MacArthur! Can you believe it?

Pregnant Mariah Carey didn’t want to give up her heels either

“You gotta do it. I love my high heels. I’ll kick ass in four inches, pregnant, any day of the week,” says the 34-year-old, who rocked a pair of black peep-toe Mary Jane high heels and a black minidress, while out to eat with her hubby Hayes, 33, at West Hollywood hot spot STK on Saturday (Nov. 13). HollyMoms, we’re curious, what kind of shoes were you wearing in your third trimester?

According to one pediatrician, the star is not making smart choices when it comes to her shoes. “Wearing high heels even wide-based, clunky ones is not a good idea during pregnancy,” explains expert Jennifer Shu. “That’s because your weight increases and your body shape and center of gravity change, making you walk differently and less steadily. A fall during pregnancy could hurt you and possibly your baby, so think twice before adding height to your growing girth.” It’s time to slip into some cute and comfortable flats, Ali.

Ali’s stocking up on baby gear

Even though she has a baby boy on board, she certainly hasn’t let her bulging belly cramp her style. She regularly steps out looking effortlessly chic in towering heels as her due date quickly approaches. She and Hayes lovingly refer to their unborn son as Baby Mac and we can’t wait to meet him!
