When it comes to raising a child, it’s important to agree on the fundamentals, but Katherine Heigl and her singer husband don’t always see eye-to-eye!
When it comes to her 23-month-old daughter Naleigh, Katherine Heigl runs a tight ship! Katherine joked about her and husband Josh Kelley‘s parenting styles on the Late Show With David Letterman saying, “We actually sort of fight over [how we raise her]. It’s ridiculous because I think it’s a mother’s job truly to decide these things.” Do you agree, HollyMoms?

But it seems like Katherine, 31, has the upper hand in their household because Josh admitted to In Touch magazine, “Naleigh is on a very strict schedule and Katherine is really smart about it. Naleigh’s a better, happier baby when she stays on her schedule.”

And being a happy baby means that Naleigh has plenty of love to go around! Josh says, “She’s saying ‘I love you’ now, which is really, really cute.” Aww!

on the one hand its good that they argue about it because it means they both care. on the other hand i hope they stick to just one method, otherwise the girl will quickly figure out how to manipulate them both.
i can only encourage a schedule for children. it really helps to raise them into the right direction. unlike e.g. katie holmes’ girl, who doesnt even have a set bedtime. thats a recipe for disaster.
