Carrie Underwood reveals that she has a plan to become a mommy at the same time as all of her friends — although she’s not ready to have kids just yet!
Carrie Underwood really loves her long-time friends! The country crooner, 27, says she vowed to become pregnant at the same time as some of her girlfriends! “I made a pregnancy pact,” Carrie said on a Nashville radio show this past month. “[We] are going to try to have children around the same time. That way we can babysit each other’s kids, and they can grow up to be friends.”
Carrie, who is married to hunky hockey player Mike Fisher, 30, says she has always wanted kids. “I definitely think I have motherly instincts,” she tells Ok! magazine. “Hopefully, [spoiling my dog, Ace] helps me get ready.” But the newlywed isn’t ready to expand her family quite yet, although a pal says, “Carrie wants to try to get pregnant this spring.”
“Honestly, I don’t think it would be fair to our kid to bring a child into our lives right now,” she says. “Mike and I need to figure out how to slow down first, and we don’t want to right now.” Although that doesn’t mean that a baby is completely out of the picture! “You never know what God has in store,” Carrie explains, “and you can make all the plans you want, but at the end of the day, whatever’s going to happen is going to happen.”
