The reality TV mom doesn’t like the weight gain and discomfort that comes with being pregnant but she’s willing to go though it all over again so that she and hubby Hank Baskett can have another baby!
“When I was pregnant, I was in so much pain: I had sciatica, and I was anemic, so I felt really weak,” says Kendra Wilkinson, who gave birth to her first child last December. She also packed on almost 60 pounds while pregnant with Hank Baskett Jr and she really had to work hard to lose the baby weight. But that isn’t stopping her and hubby Hank Baskett from preparing for a second child!
“Pregnancy is not for me,” Kendra, 25, tells In Touch. “But it’s definitely worth it. I would go through it all again.” And even though she and her NFL player hubby Hank, 28, are living thousands of miles apart right now — she’s back in sunny LA with baby Hank, 11 months, while he’s living in snowy Minnesota because he’s been picked up by the Vikings — they plan to reunite and get down to the business of baby-making this summer. “We really don’t go a week without talking about it,” says Kendra, admitting that their schedules are the only issue getting in the way of their pregnancy plans.
“We’re aiming to start trying in July,” she tells the magazine. “We want a spring or summer baby this time, not another winter birthday.”
She’d also like to give her baby boy a little sister. “She would be our tomboy princess. But we really don’t care. We just want little Hank to have a sibling.” And she hopes all of their kids follow in their daddy’s footsteps. “As long as they keep turning out like their father, we are good to go!” she laughs.
Oh, and guess what, even though she hates the whole process of being pregnant, Kendra isn’t opposed to having a Brady Bunch size family! “Why limit your life? Later on, I might want No. 3. Hank and I love kids, we have so much love to give. And we’re doing so good at raising No. 1, why stop?”
Just take it one pregnancy at a time, Kendra!
