Did hard partying contribute to the Disney star’s breakdown?

While Demi Lovato, 18, has yet to officially elaborate on the “emotional and physical” issues that forced her to seek treatment, a new report from Life & Style magazine suggests she may have been struggling with drugs. Brian Payne, a college student from Texas, recalls partying with Demi back in Dec. 2009 after one of her concerts, and he says she did drugs “like a pro — and she was just 17 at the time. It didn’t seem like something new to her.” (RadarOnline.com is also reporting that Demi was captured doing drugs on film.)

Brian says Demi was getting close with Dave, the owner of the house they partied at in Texas, and was devastated when he died in a tragic sporting accident.

An additional source tells the magazine that “Demi’s been on a tear lately. She’ll chug booze straight from the bottle.”
