Are Miley Cyrus & ‘Kings Of Leon’ Bassist, Jared Followill, Hooking Up?

Miley and Jared were getting cozy together at the MTV EMAs Nov. 7 — and a source tells us the band’s manager was also trying to get in touch with her before the show!

Has Miley Cyrus found her next boy? The 17-year-old former Disney starlet was reportedly flirting with Kings of Leon’s 23-year-old pianist and bassist, Jared Followill, all night during MTV’s Europe Music Awards Nov. 7 in Spain — and they even went out with one another afterward!

“Their crews were sitting near each other and Miley was texting Followill all night before leaving the party together,” an eyewitness told Page Six.

Said another source, “Miley and Jared are friends, they know each other from Nashville. They left the party together but they went to the Universal Records after-party at Pacha.”

Another insider tells HollywoodLife.com Kings of Leon’s manager actually called Miley (who is big fan of their music) the day before the award show to make plans for the band. Perhaps Jared had his eye on her?

Miley recently broke up with her boyfriend of a little more than a year, Liam Hemsworth, and is also going through her parents’ divorce. Jared was previously engaged to model Alisa Torres, but they broke up late last year.

P.S. Bonnie, thanks, for once, for refraining from knocking Miley for every little thing she does. Your insults don’t really hurt Miley because she’s smart enough not to read the gossips. But it’s pretty offensive to Miley’s fans.

Time will tell. If it’s true Jared had his manager call Miley, that sounds like a promising start. I think Miley likes the guy to ask first, even if she has to have a friend suggest he do so. Miley has always liked the older guys and this guy is by far the most famous of those she’s been with–he certainly makes Nick Jonas look like a nerdyboy in comparison and although he’s not as good looking as Liam, he’s a lot more well known. Liam has basicly been in one movie, the one with Miley, and a couple of Austrailian soap oprahs. I get the idea from recent interviews she wants someone who is, if not as rich as she is, at least in the ball park, which none of her former boyfriends have been. Kings of Leon are the kings of Southern Rock at the moment and look like they’ll be around for decades to come, just as Miley will be. I doubt we’ll ever be seeing a wedding anouncement from Jiley/Jarily/Follrus, but a year of so with Jared would give Miley the kind of rock-cred she sorely needs to rid herself of the Disney typecasting curse. The fact that he lives in Nashville, Miley’s home town, probably doesn’t hurt either.
