Kelly, who famously battled depression and weight issues in her past, says she can relate to young girls like Demi Lovato struggling in Hollywood today.

“Growing up is the hardest thing in the world,” Kelly Osbourne told exclusively Nov. 8 at The Glamour Women Of The Year Awards in NYC. “Your teen years are the shortest, but probably the most difficult.”

The Fashion Police star has managed to turn her own life around after suffering from depression and weight issues, and her stint on Dancing with the Stars helped inspire her to became proactive in leading a positive and healthy life. Kelly wants all teens to know they don’t have to be perfect.

“You got to find your way,” she says. “You have got to make a few mistakes to find out who you really are and what you want out of life. As long as you take them as a mistake and move on from them — don’t keep making them — then you will grow up and learn.”

Let’s hope Demi Lovato bounces back and follows in Kelly’s fabulous footsteps!
