Bristallion certainly isn’t the best dancer on Dancing with the Stars, but that’s not why she deserves to stay — she’s the most entertaining!
Bristol “The Pistol” Palin is without a doubt the weakest dancer left on Dancing with the Stars, but that doesn’t mean she should get the boot! The competition stopped being all about ability and became all about the entertainment value the second Audrina Patridge got sent home, despite being one of the strongest competitors on the show!
Here are five arguments for keeping our favorite 19-year-old single, Republican mom on DWTS:
She’s “Most Improved.” When Bristallion first stepped foot on ABC’s stage, she was worse than the legendary Kate Gosselin on Season 10. Seriously, Bristol couldn’t move (or shimmy) to save her life. Now, two months later, she glides along like a gazelle. Or at least its distant cousin.
Bristol (finally) got a personality. This is one aspect where Bristol the Pistol was at a loss. Next to a mom as outspoken and hysterical as Sarah Palin, ANYONE would seem lackluster and boring. That said, Bristol has slowly but surely started to let her guard down and speak in full sentences. She’s actually endearing and funny!
The girl can shake what her mama gave her. She might vote conservatively, but Bristallion sure knows how to shake it like she’s in a music video! Watch playback from Week 8 performances Nov. 8 to see what I’m talking about…during the “Instant Dance,” Bristol shimmied her chest, shook her hips and rolled her body liked I’d NEVER seen her before.
Her mom. No matter what your political beliefs, listening to Sarah Palin give her two cents on Bristol’s dances will tickle your funny bone. “Oooh, it’s not a lap dance, is it?” “Yeah, that’s right, Bristol. Dominate him!”
Who cares if she can dance? She’s entertaining – and isn’t that why we watch TV?
I would like people to understand something about why Bristol might be staying on Dancing with the Stars and it has nothing to do with the Tea Party Movement and her famous mother.
I am not a fan of the Tea Party Movement or Sarah Palin, but I vote for Bristol because I admire her courage for being on the show without a single shred of dancing or entertainment experience. Her dancing improvement is inspiring. Like many DTWS fans, I feel it the contestant line-up was extremely unfair. The top dancers have, well, dancing experience!
Bristol inspires the average person to get out there and dance! Even my husband who has been a dance-phobe for decades took a ballroom dance class with me and loved it.
People need to get off the whole conspiracy theories about why Bristol stays on. We love to watch her dance, missteps and wooden expressions and all. She is blossoming like a dancing butterfly.

You go, Bristol!
