LAURA'S LOVE LIFE ADVICE: You Should NEVER Diss Your BF's Ex, Like Ashley May Have Done To Demi!

You’ve got the guy, so curb your tongue — catty behavior isn’t going to do you any favors with your new boyfriend!

It’s no secret that women can be cruel (ESPECIALLY when it comes to other females) but it is NOT a smart move to let your man see your inner mean girl!

Ashley Greene might want to be careful, then, exactly what she says about new boyfriend Joe Jonas’ recent ex, Demi Lovato. Although the following statement is a bit ambiguous, it’s largely believed that the Twilight starlet is kicking Demi, who just entered a rehab facility for emotional and physical distress, while she’s down.

First, the 24-year-old actress tweeted at her friend @MaryKayLove: “Get it girl. Very true” while proceeding to retweet her pal’s comment. “You can call it “freedom of speech”, “expressing your opinion” or what ever bullsh*t thing you tell yourself to sleep at the end..your a bully. And karma is a bitch.”

NOT exactly the kind of statement you’d want to be publicly making about a girl who’s just entered rehab, right? Ashley needs to watch it!

But why, you may ask? Clearly Joe, 21, isn’t into Demi anymore, so what harm could it do?

Here’s my answer: A LOT. You’re making yourself look petty, cruel and intolerant when you diss an ex. Regardless of this drastic situation, you talking smack about an ex under ordinary circumstances is just as bad. Why the need to take jabs at his ex? YOU have him now, right? You win!

In fact, if you can avoid it, don’t bring up the former GF at all. One, you really don’t want him thinking about her in the first place, and two, it’s just going to make you unhappy when he starts reminiscing about all the things they’ve done together. Don’t put yourself in that position! Make sure you keep his ex exactly where she belongs — in the past.
