What did you think of her midnight blue get-up last night?

Julianne Moore is totally stunning, especially for a woman who’s just weeks away from her 50th birthday. While I’m not always a fan of her frocks on the carpet, (sometimes she looks a little too frumpy for my liking), I was so happy to see her really wow at the premiere of her latest movie, The Kids Are All Right, at the Rome Film Festival on Nov. 2 in a one shoulder Giorgio Armani gown from the spring 2011 collection.

After seeing her practically naked Bulgari ads, I guess I expect to see the same confidence when she’s on the red carpet and I’m so glad that she managed to do just that in this gorgeous gown. She kept the focus on the frock, wearing her hair in a sleek updo and accessorizing with a Bulgari snake cuff and Bulgari clutch. I love the way she kept her neck bare, drawing attention to the asymmetrical detail, and I thought the midnight blue was the perfect color for her skin tone. The dress was so chic and I love the unexpected cutout — my only complaint are the clunky shoes. I think with a dress so airy and chic she should’ve stuck to a lighter look for her feet. What did you think of her look last night?
