After a recent meltdown in a New York hotel room, a previous domestic violence charge and a long history of drug abuse, Charlie has decided to sober up! Do you think he can do it?

Charlie Sheen has finally admitted he has a drug abuse problem! According to TMZ, the 45-year-old Two and a Half Men has hired a sober coach to help him address the issue.

Sources connected with Charlie’s hit show say that the sober coach is living at Charlie’s house and escorting him to and from work.

Charlie’s life changing decision comes just two days after he filed for divorce from his wife of two years, 33-year-old Brooke Mueller on Nov. 1. Maybe he’s trying to get his act together so that he can actually convince a court that he deserves joint custody of his 19-month-old twin sons, Bob and Max?

This is going to be a real battle for Charlie who has a long history of drug abuse. Just last week, he trashed a room at New York’s Plaza Hotel after allegedly going on a cocaine and alcohol binge. Charlie’s ex wife Denise Richards was staying in the hotel at the time with their daughters Sam, 6, and Lola, 5 and accompanied him when he was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night.
