Happy Birthday, Nelly! You're 37 Today, November 2!

The rapper and dad of 2 has made a big comeback this year with his hit song “Just A Dream” and he is sure to keep on climbing his way back to the top!

After a little bit of a hiatus, Nelly –Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr.–has returned to the music scene with his billboard hit “Just A Dream” which is his highest-charting song since his 2005, “Grillz.” His new album, 5.0, is set to be released November 16, 2010 and is sure to bring the rapper much success! But Nelly isn’t only a hip-hop music star, he is the dad of Channell, 16, and Cornell III, 11, with his ex-girlfriend, Channeta Valentine.

Nelly had a big surprise recently when Taylor Swift tweeted that she enjoyed his song “Just A Dream!” ”I’m so in love with that new Nelly song,” Taylor wrote. Nelly said that when the country superstar mentioned him on Twitter, his kids realized what a cool dad he was. “My daughter was like, ‘OMG!’ ” Nelly told Billboard magazine. “I’m only cool to her because I know Chris Brown and Bow Wow, and now Taylor tweeted about me.” Well, we’re sure your kids know how awesome of a dad you are, Nelly! You don’t need to have famous buddies to be a cool dad! Happy Birthday!
