Ellen DeGeneres Must Be Worried About Willow Smith Whipping Her Hair — She Gave Her A Neck Brace!

The 10-year-old singer, whose first single “Whip My Hair” is the catchiest song we’ve heard in ages, got a great gag gift when she stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show today!

If you’ve seen Willow Smith‘s “Whip My Hair” video, you’ll agree that the energetic and talented 10-year-old really knows how to bust a move. But her head-thrashing dance routine apparently worries talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. When Willow stopped by  The Ellen DeGeneres Show today (Nov. 2) to perform her hit song, Ellen gave her a funny and practical gift — a bedazzled blue neck brace with Ellen’s face all over it! “Because you have such great style, I want to make sure if you do ever hurt your head, you will be in style,” Ellen told the smiling tween.

Willow says making the ‘Whip My Hair’ video was hard work

Willow, the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, was such a good sport, she happily tried on the Ellen-embellished brace! And looked adorable, of course. “You can wear that on all your tours,” Ellen suggested.

Willow and her brother Jayden really are superstars

While we don’t think Willow will be rocking her new neck brace on stage anytime soon, we think Ellen’s heart was in the right place… and she might have a point about all that hair whipping being bad for you! Check out the video of her performance below!
