Ian swapped his trademark smolder for Paul’s unmistakable tortured, emo look — and it was AWESOME.
Regardless of whether you’re on Team Stefan or Team Damon, there’s one thing we can all agree on: Ian Somerhalder had the best Halloween costume… ever! The Vampire Diaries star paid homage to his on-screen little brother, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley), and he went all-out — high hair and everything. And Ian’s costume has already gotten the thumbs-up from co-star Nina Dobrev: “@iansomerhalder as ‘Stefan Salvatore’ for Halloween! Brilliant!!!’ Nina tweeted Nov. 1, along with the unspeakably awesome photo above.
And never one to miss an opportunity for a joke, Ian chimed in with his own comment Nov. 1: “Early morning on set. Paul Wesley is here, It’s always strange to hang out with the monster you dressed as for Halloween…”
