When you’ve got the breakup blues, turn to your BFF for consolation like Courteney Cox does!

When you’ve just been dumped or broken up with the guy you thought was the love of your life, there’s nothing you feel less like doing than going out and celebrating being suddenly single. However, the best thing you can do to heal post-heartbreak is to rely on your best pals — and if that includes venturing out into the scary single dating pool again, so be it!

Although Courteney Cox says she ISN’T getting a divorce from hubby David Arquette, she IS still separated and in pain — which is why she’s leaning on HER BFF, Jennifer Aniston — which is just about the smartest move she could be making!

“We just have fun, we laugh, we’re inseparable and it’s great,” the 46-year-old Cougar Town star says of her best pal and former Friends co-star. “It’s funny, a lot of really close friends are kind of going through this right now or like Jennifer [who] has gone through it. I don’t know what’s going on in the planets or what, but things are being shaken up and I don’t know what’s going to happen, but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure.”

My advice? When your friend comes calling trying to get you to return to the land of the living, let her take you out.  Whether you go dancing, see a movie or simply have a great chat over a bottle of wine, just make the effort to get out and slowly move on. Let her shoulder some of your burden. That’s what friends are for, after all.
