Which performer’s star do YOU think shined the brightest on Dancing with the Star Oct. 25?
Dancing with the Stars‘ “Rock Week” may seem like an oxymoron, but nevertheless, the contestants went full speed ahead with their performances — and even rocked in out in the hysterical dance marathon. Although Brandy and Audrina Patridge scored the highest points of the Oct. 25 episode, Jennifer Grey and Bristol “The Pistol” Palin (with Kyle Massey coming in third) were my favorites!
The judges said Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough’s‘s paso doble was “uncontrolled,” “disjointed” and “lacking in quality,” but I thought it was entertaining! Performing a classical dance to Pink‘s “So What,” has got to be tricky. Jennifer better be safe next week — she’s the best one up there! I liked her dance better thanBrandy‘s tango to “I Need A Hero!”
The judges said Audrina Patridge was lacking “character” in her paso doble, and I agree. However, she still managed to get three eights…so the hot dancing snooze wasn’t so bad after all.
After watching Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer bicker during rehearsals, I’m convinced they’d be an adorable couple. Who cares if she has a boyfriend? They do the tango together fabulously. Also, Kyle has lost weight, no?
Tonight I came to the realization that I could live without Rick Fox in the competition. I know he tied for third place with his tango, but he doesn’t provide the same entertainment value as the others. Sorry, Rick. I’ve written you off. (Before you guys freak out, please know I know I’m being irrational — this is simply my opinion.)
Watching my girl, Bristol “The Pistol” Palin, “rock out” on the dance floor feels like watching Laura Ingalls Wilder break dance. Although her tango was uninspired compared to Brandy and Audrina‘s performances, it was HER personal best — and I couldn’t be prouder. Cheers, my dear! (Side note: Brooke Burke single handedly makes every contestant AND dancer become 100% awkward. Can we just get rid of her?)
How fun is it that Bret Michaels came in to give Kurt Warner girl advice? I lolzed for days. Unfortunately, the infamous rocker’s words of “wisdom” didn’t help with Kurt’s paso doble — he scored 18/30 and was at the bottom of the pack. Is he the straggler of the group?
What did you guys think? Who should stay…and more importantly right now, who should go?
I agree that Jennifer and Derek’s paso doble was the best…a misstep at the end, but still the most professional and passionate. To me, Brandy has the personality of a paper clip and Audrina just has a flat personality….period. I also agree about Brooke. She comes across as judgmental and conceited and does not have the personality to speak with the numerous different people on this show. I love Jennifer and Derek. They are fun to watch and are bubbly and enthusiastic, which this show definitely needs. Not everyone can laugh at their mistakes.

Um, Kristin must be a teabagger, there is no other reason to pump up Bristol Palin, who is a sweet young lady, but a poor dancer.
