The Real Housewives of New York City star was decked out in her finest Egyptian wear a week before All Hallows Eve!
Alex McCord and her husband, Simon Van Kempen, clearly have an eye for romantic history, as the pair channeled Marc Antony and Cleopatra for the Dream Halloween event on Sunday (Oct. 24) in New York City. The Real Housewives of New York City star and Brooklyn resident, 37, who wrote the book Little Kids, Big City together with her husband, 46, earlier this year, had sons Francois, 7, and Johan, 5, along for the ride, even if the boys weren’t playing along with their parents’ motif!
Francois, on the right, was happy going as a blue-skinned Na’vi from Avatar, while younger brother Johan got his Iron Man going with an adorable costume. She even tweeted about the event, writing, “Having a GREAT time at the Halloween Dream Ball & raising $ 4 children affected by AIDS.”
Alex has also weighed in on the controversy surrounding another Real Housewives franchise, the Washington D.C. version, commenting on People.com about how Tareq and Michelle Salahi hijacked the season, and not in a good way. “It’s really sad that an entire season can be overshadowed by one couple’s bad behavior,” she writes. “Can we please pull the plug on them?”
Looks like you may get your wish, Alex! We’ll have to wait and see what happens with season two!
