New reports say the country starlet was spotted strolling through NYC holding hands with Jake! Could this really be true?
Taylor Swift clearly has an eye for older men! The 20-year-old is in NYC promoting her new album Speak Now, which officially drops Oct. 25, and it seems she’s been getting rather cozy with Jake Gyllenhaal! Life & Style is reporting that Taylor and Jake were spotted in Brooklyn, NY, Oct. 24 walking arm-in-arm!
“Taylor and Jake were walking around Park Slope holding hands,”says a source. “They looked like a couple!” This is totally believable because Jake’s sister Maggie Gyllenhaal lives in Park Slope with her husband Peter Sarsgaard and their 3-year-old daughter Ramona.
But, this was just one of TWO rendezvous Taylor and Jake had over the weekend — they were also spotted backstage at SNL Oct. 23! Taylor was there supporting her girlfriend and host of the night Emma Stone, and reports say they were holding hands that night too!
Taylor and Jake have both had their fair share of failed romances. Jake most recently broke up with actress Reese Witherspoon in 2009, and Taylor was last linked to Taylor Lautner, and John Mayer. We just hope Jake realizes that he better treat her right, because he’ll ultimately end up in a song if he doesn’t!
She’s said herself that her albums are like her diaries and that if someone doesn’t want to end up in her lyrics, then they shouldn’t be mean to her in the first place!

OMG.. I hope this isn’t true. Jake is too good for Taylor!! Sorry I’m not a big fan of Taylor and the “games” she plays. She’s going after older men ‘cuz she has very little experience with real men or men in general. As she’s only really dated younger than her teen guys, who wouldn’t put out. Thus acts so innocent and naive to trap a real guy. It’s all too typical of girls a few yrs less than her age. Yet she really needs to GROW UP, sing songs more appropriate for her age, than songs like “Fifteen” when she is going to be 21 yrs old Dec. 13th and date guys in there early to mid 20s. Her writing crappy songs about the guys she’s dated, is very petty and childish behavior for someone her age. I bet John Mayer has some lyrics about Taylor he could put in a song, but he won’t. That’s being an adult and having class, as everyone knows he’s a ladies man, not a 1 woman man. She’s not a friggin’ teenager but a supposed adult. Plus she looks very unhealthy for being 6 ft tall=she walks hunched over all the time, little does she know if she continues, medically she can become that way permanently!! Jake needs a more mature woman, who knows who she is, what she wants and is proud of herself. NOT a childish acting 21 yr old like Taylor. Is Taylor so naive or STUPID to think it would of worked with the way older playboy, John Mayer is or the younger than her teen, so needs to explore other women, Taylor Lautner?? GOD THIS’LL MAKE ME SICK IF IT’S TRUE!! JAKE DESERVES MUCH BETTER THAN THAT FUGLY BEANPOLE TAYLOR (who really didn’t deserve all the awards she’s gotten out of pity, because of what Kanye West did to her. ‘Cuz she sure can’t sing very well and her songs all sound the same; why “Speak Now” isn’t doing very well. Read the comments on iTunes!! Many think its a Pop Album vs Country, to worse comments.
** CARRIE UNDERWOOD IS THE PRINCESS OF COUNTRY + TRUE TO COUNTRY MUSIC!! ** Carrie also writes many of her songs and plays the guitar too. She’s like most female country singers who play the guitar & other instruments, plus write their own songs. Taylor’s NOT the only music artist that does this. Don’t believe me check out other female artists and see their credits. THE majority just prefer NOT to make sure everyone knows they write their songs AND they surely don’t want to HIDE behind a guitar/other instument when performing. It’s called having confidence and knowing themselves vs advertising it as if for acceptance from CM fans!! And if Taylor can sing so well, why did her producers pull her video off YouTube last year (after her awful duet w/Stevie Nicks..poor Stevie, I know she wanted to be off that stage away from Taylor). Then they blamed her bad singing on an earpiece problem?? No other performers had problems that night!! And sorry, being a singer & guitarist, just having the earpiece in brings the music into your head more, so you stay on key; just covering or cupping one ear w/a hand can check your vocal tune. Earpiece problem = B.S. You’re tone deaf if you don’t hear this or her taking breaths all the time. She needs to work with a vocal coach. Most artist have done such, so there’s no shame in doing this. But GROW UP TAYLOR, QUIT THE B.S.!!!
