Melissa’s active little girl is kicking up a storm as the mommy-to-be prepares for her baby’s arrival!
Mommy-to-be Melissa Rycroft sure has one busy little baby girl in her tummy! “I have quite the little kicker in my belly these days….” Melissa tweeted on Oct. 4. “Shes already proved to be stubborn and a tad bit difficult….character traits of both of us! Uh-oh…. Feels good though!”
Melissa Rycroft took 15 pregnancy tests before she believed she was expecting!
Melissa, 27, who recently learned that she’s expecting a baby girl with her husband Tye Strickland, 29, is super excited to become a mom. Now that she knows the baby’s gender, preparations for her arrival are underway. “Back home for and back to cleaning and house errands,” Melissa tweeted on Oct. 22. “Going to have to start on that nursery soon…!!”

But determining the baby’s gender wasn’t easy for Melissa and Tye. “We actually found out 10 or so weeks ago what the sex was and then went back about 2 months ago and got a different report,” Melissa told HollyBaby.com at the Juno Jr. Launch event at FAO Schwarz in NYC on Sept. 25. “So we have decided we are going to let our little one cook as long as possible before going and finding out again, so that hopefully we have a 100 percent confirmation.”

The couple finally got the good news and shared it with the the ladies of CBS’ The Talk on Oct. 20. Now, Melissa and Tye can focus on picking out a name for their soon-to-arrive bundle of joy.

hello it being her first child Quickening {the stage where you can feel the baby kick} happens later than it does in subsequent pregnancies. at least Melissa is having a healthy pregnancy not every star is lucky enough to have their first or any natural pregnancies be healthy and produce a living happy child. wait till Joanne Woodward’s autobiography comes out next year and she finally opens up about her miscarriage on her & Paul Newman’s honeymoon the gossip sites are going to have a field day and say she should’ve stopped trying after that and just been a stepmother to his children from his first marriage
