Six days after announcing their trial separation, David Arquette and Courteney Cox reunited to cheer their daughter Coco on at a horse show on Oct. 17. A pal says they’re putting their issues aside to make sure they look after their little girl.
Sure, Courteney Cox and David Arquette‘s marriage is on the rocks, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t be civil for the sake of their darling daughter Coco. The estranged couple, who announced their trial separation last week, joined forces to cheer on their 6-year-old during a riding competition at the Malibu Equestrian Park. It’s clear that they are putting their daughter first.
“The thing they care most about is Coco,” says a friend of the couple, who tied the knot in 1999. “That’s what they’re saddest about. They don’t want to do anything to hurt her.” The friend tells Us that the family will continue to spend Sundays together. “No matter what happens, they want to create stability for Coco.”
And both Courteney, 46, and David are hopping that they can work through the problems in their relationship so that they never have to deal with the dreaded D-word. “The split isn’t final,” says a friend of David, 39. “He loves Courtney and wants to stay married to her forever.” We certainly hope they can work it out and keep their happy family intact.
