Sorry, Lindsay! Even though you’re trying to escape jail time by sobering up in rehab at Betty Ford, our insider thinks Judge Elden Fox will still make you serve time ASAP!
Lindsay Lohan is heading back to court Oct. 22 to face Judge Elden Fox and get sentenced for violating parole — and even though the 24-year-old actress has narrowly escaped having to put in much time behind bars thus far, Los Angeles-based criminal attorney Steve Cron tells us he thinks her luck has run its course.
“The judge is probably going to look at how she’s done in rehab at Betty Ford and hopefully for her, the reports are positive,” Cron says. “But even if they are good, I doubt he’s going to let her off the hook. I bet he says, ‘I wanted you to go to jail a month ago. You still violated your parole multiple times.’”
Originally, Judge Fox had thrown Lindsay behind bars with no bail until her sentencing, but thanks to a legal loophole, the troubled starlet managed to weasel her way out of jail — and into rehab.
“I think he’ll give her another 30 days in jail,” Cron says, adding, “And I bet he makes her go right away.”
Does that mean Lindsay’s stay at the posh Betty Ford Center will come to a crashing halt?
Cron thinks so. “He MIGHT let her finish rehab,” he says. “But let’s be honest, she doesn’t seem to finish too much.”
