The star is rocking traditional wedding jewelry. Do you like it?
Katy Perry was spotted out and about in India, wearing a traditional bridal nose ring. The piece of jewelry, which includes a chain that stretches from the nose to the ear, is reportedly worn by traditional Indian brides before the wedding and then throughout the ceremony. What do you think about Katy’s new bridal accessory?
Personally, I think it’s gorgeous. It’s incredibly respectful and gorgeous to fully embrace the traditions of any kind of wedding, and since she’s getting married in India it stands to reason that she would adopt their customs as much as possible. Plus, let’s face it, it’s Katy Perry! She’s going to mix it up a little when it comes to her wedding style!

Uh, it’s nto really respectful.lol She’s using it like a decoration where someone from the indigenous culture would hold more meaning into such traditions. It’s more like some ugly american taking on what they deem “exotic” for an accessory. Lame. I like Katy Perry but lately her poser status has gone way up.
