Eight years after co-starring with Kristen Stewart in ‘Panic Room,’ Jodi Foster opens up about her surprise of seeing K-stew still hanging around Hollywood!

Long before Twilight existed, 20-year-old Kristen Stewart was a pre-teen trying to get a break in Hollywood. Her dream started to become reality when she was cast to play opposite Oscar-winning actress Jodi Foster, 47, in 2002′s Panic Room. Although Jodi has much praise for Kristen and her talents, she can’t help but be a little shocked that Kristen has stuck with it!

“I am surprised she is an actress,” Jodi told Eonline.com. “I didn’t think that’s where she was headed. Even though her mom said, ‘No, she really really wants to be an actress,’ I felt like, Nah, she won’t because she really doesn’t have the stereotypical personality.”

Kristen does seem awkward and shy for someone who’s such a huge movie star! However, don’t be fooled by her quiet demeanor, Jodi says she’s a smart girl who is going places.

“She’s a great person, and I’m not surprised she’s gone on to to do great things,” she said.

We’ll say! K-Stew is an A-list actress surrounded by Oscar buzz and just happens to be dating one of the hottest guys in Hollywood, Robert Pattinson. With no end in sight, we’re sure K-Stew will be around for a long time!
