Happy Birthday, Snoop Dogg! You're 39 Today, October 20!

The rapper, actor and producer might be pushing 40, but it doesn’t seem like anything can slow down his career!

Snoop Dogg, born Cordozar Calvin Broadus, has had quite the career thus far. Lately, the ‘Sugar Daddy’ can be seen and heard in Katy Perry’s hit song/‘kiddie porn’ video “California Gurls!” But aside from being a well-known rapper, Snoop Dogg is a huge sports fan and big time family guy! He has been with his wife Shante Taylor since high school and they have three children – sons Corde, 16, Cordell, 13, and daughter Cori, 10.

E! aired the reality show Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood, which detailed his family life and premiered in December 2007. Although Snoop Dogg and Shante did divorce, they reconciled and renewed their vows in 2008. After putting his life back in order, Snoop Dogg explained that the riches of Hollywood led him to divorce. “That’s why it was all bad, because of the simple fact that I’m Snoop Dogg and in a powerful position. I just got to come back to being Calvin, and realising what matters most to me: my wife and my kids.”
