Jennifer Lopez Says Marc Anthony Didn't Want Their Twins, Max And Emme, To Be Photographed For The New Gucci Ad Campaign

American Idol‘s newest judge Jennifer Lopez stopped by The Talk (probably because she’s BFFs with co-host Leah Remini) to dish about the new Gucci ads featuring her twins — Max and Emme.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have been very careful about keeping their twins — Max and Emme — out of the spotlight. That’s why we were shocked to see Jennifer, 41, with her cute kiddies shooting a new ad campaign for Gucci back in July. But J. Lo revealed today on the new CBS show The Talk that her husband of six years, Marc Anthony, was against the idea of their 2½-year-old twins being photographed.

Find out why Jennifer really wanted to be a judge on Idol

“We’re not ones to parade the kids around town and we’ve tried really hard not to let them get used to the weird paparazzi attention,” the new American Idol judge said. “Marc didn’t want the kids to be in the ads and I told him that they could hire models to be my kids for the shoot.”

So how did she convince Marc, 42, to let her pose with their tots for the beachy shots? The fact that it was for charity and Gucci donated $1 million to UNICEF certainly helped. But Jennifer also turned on the charm and played on his heartstrings. “I told him that I was worried that Emme and Max would to come to me in the future and wonder why I had stand-in kids,” she admits. Not wanting to psychologically scar the kids, Marc relented. We’re so glad that he did because the pictures are simply stunning. HollyMoms, have you ever had to talk your baby’s daddy into letting you do something with the kids? If so, what was it?
