OMG! Elin Nordegren's Divorce Settlement Is Revealed — Tiger Woods Paid Her $110 Million!

Elin walked away with a figure close to what we’ve been speculating for months, but do you think the loyal Swedish beauty deserved more?

A new report claims Tiger Woods paid his ex-wife of six years, Elin Nordegren $110 million in their divorce settlement. The two were married in 2004, but once Tiger’s laundry list of mistresses was revealed, there was no looking back for Elin. Despite having a more than comfortable bank account, the mother of their two children, Sam, 2, and Charlie, 1, is keeping her purse strings pulled tight. is reporting that when Elin, 30, flew from California to Orlando last week, she opted to fly commercial instead of chartering a private jet.

“She could afford the jet but didn’t even consider it,” says a source. “She’s not cheap, but she’s just not throwing money around and wasting it the way some people would.”

But even though Elin isn’t throwing money around, she’s still trying to maintain the lifestyle she once shared with her ex-husband. Sources say Elin still has a few nannies but she’s cutting their hours.

“She has cut back some of the hours some people work, she’s not acting like she hit the lottery.”

But here’s the thing, Tiger is estimated to be worth about $500 million, so why did Elin only walk away with one fifth of that? Tiger also paid his top mistress, Rachel Uchitel $10 million in order to get her to stop talking to the press, but in perspective, Elin only received 12 times more than that amount.

“Elin wanted enough money to not change her luxurious lifestyle but she didn’t try to take him for every penny that she could,” says a source.

It turns out the bigger issue was custody, and Tiger was reportedly very worried that Elin was going to take their two children to her native Sweden.

“That was a bigger hang up than money. Making sure he had access to Sam and Charlie was crucial for Tiger,” says a source close to the family.

We still think that the humble ex-wife deserved a lot more, and should have taken Tiger to the cleaners! Do YOU think Elin should have gotten more than $110 million in their divorce settlement?

I think she just wanted a simple life, it happens only she married a rich man. I read once that she used to be a nanny and worked as a parttime model too, just to pay for her studies. The first time Tiger asked a date, she turned him down. But Tiger Wood never gave up, so he continously invited Elin through the help of her former employee who happened to be Tigers colleague in golf. I think her respect and love for Tiger truly disappeared, so she just wanted to get out ASAP.

This article and poll question are misleading at best and show an ignorance of the what she was legally entitled to baed on his income and the fact that he wanted to her sign a non-disclosure agreement. She could have multi milllions of dollars if she had been free to write a book, do tell all interviews, and or become a ‘brand’. She chose a life time of silence (even after his death). That silence had a real financial value to it and it was only fair that she be compensated for the potential money she was agreeing to walk away from to protect his image from any further damage (and probably that of any of his friends and collegues she was privy to). She actually would have made more money and more status if she had agreed to the facade of a fake marriage and even another child but she chose self-respect and freedom to live her life and raise her kids. I’d hate to be famous and have details of my private life up for total strangers to scrutinize and make assumptions on for their own entertainment and profit. I wish her and her kids th best.
