Turning 14 comes with a ton of perks when you’re Madonna’s daughter. Lourdes Leon mingled with the cast of In The Heights after catching a performance of the Broadway show on her birthday (Oct. 14).

Check it out — there’s a new material girl taking Manhattan by storm! Madonna‘s daughter Lourdes Leon got up close and personal with the cast of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical In The Heights, including American Idol alum Jordin Sparks (who is starring in the show through November 14). Lourdes attended a performance of the show before getting a private backstage tour on Thursday (Oct. 14) as part of her 14th birthday celebration.

Should Lourdes be allowed to wear such high heels?

It’s no wonder Madonna, 52, loves to spoil the teenager (who is attending the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in NYC) — she sees a lot of herself in her daughter, who she calls Lola. “She reminds me of me when I was younger,” says the singer. “She just goes for it and tries different things. It doesn’t look like she thought too much about it. That is how I used to be.”

Check out these great pics of Lourdes through the years!

Besides rubbing elbows with some of the most talented people on Broadway, Lourdes, whose father is professional trainer Carlos Leon, is now finally able to change her hair color. While blogging on the website for her clothing line Material Girl, Lola revealed that the best thing about turning 14 is that: “I am FINALLY allowed to dye my hair…THANK YOU MOTHER!!”

Madonna’s had so many different hairstyles and colors that we can’t wait to see what Lourdes does to her ‘do next!
