Reading the Nancy Drew series is going to help Violet enhance her imagination and teach her to go for what she wants in life!

It’s simply fabulous when kids develop a major interest in reading at an early age! Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner‘s little girl Violet has done just that. The 4-year-old was pictured carrying around Nancy Drew and The Clue Crew: Pony Problems as she walked the streets of Beverly Hills with her mommy on Wednesday (Oct. 13).

Violet Affleck looks so cute dressed in pink for ballet class!

Violet couldn’t have picked out a better book to read. Teen sleuth Nancy Drew is an awesome role model for a young girl. Reading these sort of books will teach Violet what it means to be a strong and independent woman who uses her brainpower to solve problems and isn’t afraid to reach for what she wants in life. Kudos to Jen and Ben for nurturing Violet with books like these!

Get the look: Violet Affleck sure knows how to accessorize!

And Jen, 38, sets a great example of how her daughters (Violet and Seraphina, 1) can create whatever type of life they want for themselves. “I live my life at these two extremes,” Jen tells W magazine. “I’m either a full-time stay-at-home mom or a full-time actress.”

What do you think of mommy Jen Garner’s dark hair color?

Hopefully Violet and Seraphina will follow their mom’s lead and be successful in whatever they choose to do!
