Which look did you like best on the star?

Although I’m dying to see Hilary Swank‘s latest movie, Conviction, I’m really not a fan of the actress. Sure, she’s talented, but I rarely feel the urge to write about her style choices — although I have to commend the star for her latest choice on the carpet. In NYC, she’s had two screenings so far and the beautiful blue draped J. Mendel dress she wore on Oct. 13 was gorgeous. Although she rarely looks comfortable in some of the get-ups she tries to pull off, this dress and the stunning pair of Sergio Rossi gladiators she chose was perfect.

While I love the soft look of the draped dress, her get-up on Oct. 12 was far from perfect. Hilary stepped out in a Hervé Léger by Max Azria spring 2011 dress that just didn’t look right on the star at all! While the form-fitting silhouette is flattering on her frame, the dress was far too structured — especially for an actress who has a hard time making her dressed up get-ups look feminine. She somehow managed to make this sexy, form-fitting dress seem like a power suit! I don’t blame the star for this, I just don’t think this dress was the best choice on her– although I loved her Raven Kauffman clutch and grey René Caovilla sandals.

Which dress do you think is best on the star?
