You probably take it for granted, but the latest Biggest Loser castoffs are thrilled they’re able to do things like sit comfortably in a movie theater and recover quickly after working out now that they’ve almost reached their goal weights!
If you’re reasonably fit and not obese, you probably haven’t put much stock in how big your seats are at the movie theater — but for Burgandy Keel, it’s one of her new favorite topics of conversation since she’s lost more than 51 pounds competing on The Biggest Loser.
“The funny thing is, I went to the movies with my husband and my hips didn’t touch the sides. I couldn’t believe it!” she told HollywoodLife.com Oct. 13. “There are so many little things in life that you take for granted, like being comfortable in a movie seat. I’ve noticed that things are much looser.”
A 35-year-old mom of five from Utah, Burgandy was booted from NBC’s hit reality series in the Oct. 12 episode — but is thriving at home, teaching spin classes at her local gym and inspiring the community.
The other ousted Oct. 12 contestant, Sophia Franklin, is also appreciating her new body after losing more than 47 pounds.
“I was always active before The Biggest Loser and I find now in all my crazy endeavours like triathlons that I’m not in pain after I finish a race,” the 28-year-old high school counselor told us. “I’m ready to go and do it again; I can go harder and faster and I am nowhere near as beat-up as I used to be carrying all the weight.”
We can’t even imagine how great it feels to lose that much weight — keep up the great work, ladies! We can’t wait to see you at the finale in a few months!
