Yet another bombshell for Gavin’s wife of eight years, Gwen Stefani! First, he revealed he had a “love child” now he reveals he had a sexual relationship with a crossing-dressing singer in the eighties!

Gavin Rossdale is finally speaking out about a secret gay affair he’s kept hidden for two decades! Gavin opens up in the November issue of Details magazine about the relationship he had with cross-dressing English singer Peter Robinson also known as Marilyn, but he doesn’t really see it as a big deal.

“When you’re 17, Jesus Christ. I don’t think there’s anything strange about any form of, you’re learning about life,” he tells Details. “It’s a part of growing up.”

But, this is the second major bombshell the 44-year-old British musician has dropped on his wife Gwen Stefani! The couple who have been married for eight years and have two children together, Kingston, 4, and Zuma, 2, have had to deal with Gavin’s secret past before. In 2004 it was revealed that Gavin with the father of Daisy Lowe, a 15-year-old British model that was conceived before he ever met Gwen.

Even though Marilyn claims the affair went on for several years, and that he was asked by Gavin not to talk about it — Gavin tells the mag that’s not the case at all.

“Yea. That was it. [a one time thing],” says Gavin. “You have to know what you like, and I know what I like.”

Sources close to Gavin and Gwen reveal that the Bush frontman is “regretting” his interview with the mag.

“Gwen didn’t know that Gavin and Marilyn were actually involved. Gavin always said before that they were just friends,” says the source. “That’s what she believed, until Gavin had to tell her.”

News broke of the affair in singer Boy George‘s 1995 book Take It Like a Man, but even years later, Marilyn says they really had a connection.

“We were together five years,” Marilyn told InTouch in 2009. “But it felt like 40.”
