Larry Birkhead wants to protect his little girl Dannielynn from all bad in the world. He doesn’t want her to hear what’s being said about her mommy, Anna Nicole Smith, as the jury begins deliberations today in the trial over her accidental death.
As Larry and Dannielynn had a father-daughter date on Monday, the controversy over the her mom Anna Nicole Smith’s drug overdose and accidental death continued.
A jury will convene in Los Angeles today (Oct. 12) to deliberate on whether Anna’s two doctors — Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich — and her lawyer boyfriend, Howard K. Stern, are guilty of giving her too many prescription pills that lead to her overdose and death in a Florida hotel room on Feb. 8, 2007.
Despite district attorney Renee Rose saying that the the two doctors used false names to give out the prescriptions, after nine weeks of testimony, the defendants stand by the notion that they gave Anna the pills to help ease her physical and emotional pain. Testimony ended on Oct. 8 and the case is now in the hands of the jury.
