Oh, no! Even though Ryan Seacrest is one of the most desired bachelors in the world, Corky Ballas is nervous that he’s not the right guy for his friend, Julianne Hough!

This season of Dancing With The Stars has had the show’s resident dancers showing their not-so-nice sides. First, Maksim Chmerkovskiy was in an uproar over Carrie Ann Inaba‘s harsh judgement call. Now, Corky Ballas is admitting his true feelings about former DWTS pro (and his protege) Julianne Hough’s blossoming relationship with Ryan Seacrest – and they aren’t so positive!

“I’m like her second father,” Corky, 49, told HollywoodLife.com at the GLSEN Respect Awards in Beverly Hills Oct. 8. about his relationship with the 22-year-old dancer.

And in typical father/daughter fashion, Corky is protective of Julianne — and gave us his two cents about her romantic relationship with Ryan Seacrest.

“I don’t think anything of it,” he says. “Someone is 22-years-old. I think it’s kinda silly to get too deep into a relationship so young.”

Julianne and Ryan have been an item since the beginning of summer. Ryan has worked hard to sweep Julianne off her feet. His courting has included a $50,000 dinner, a trip to Italy and an introduction to his parents. Ryan finally admitted to being a couple on the Ellen Degeneres Show in September, but it’s a relationship Corky doesn’t think she should fall into so fast.

Ryan is handsome, successful and talented — should Corky be a little less concerned for his favorite student?
