Cat Fight! Solange Knowles Says Katy Perry's 'California Gurls' Video Is 'Kiddie Porn'!

Katy Perry’s “Candyland” themed music video might seem kid-friendly, but Solange Knowles went on a Twitter rampage after she caught her 5-year-old son watching it!

If you’ve seen Katy Perry‘sCalifornia Gurls” video, you’ll have caught the singer lying naked on cotton candy clouds while her sugar daddy Snoop Dogg grinds with girls in candy lingerie — well, Solange Knowles claims the colorful music video is kiddie porn! Beyonce‘s younger sister is furious that her 5-year-old son Julez snuck off to watch the video on YouTube! And the 24-year-old is not afraid to let the world know what she thinks! She took to Twitter to rant about the pop star’s inappropriate “Candyfornia” world! “But seriously. Iontlike [don't like] the fact dat Julez thinks he gotta sneak & watched California gurls on u tube. Katy Perry is polluting the chirrens [children].”

Katy Perry gets kicked off Sesame Street!

Woah! Katy has got Solange fired up! We’re guessing that the whimsical music video probably wasn’t meant to be seen by little kids! “It is like kiddie porn tho,” Solange writes. “All them damn colors, candy and sh**….and then daisy dukes, breast shooting cream…”

Solange feels that Katy is recklessly marketing her body off to kids by suggesting, with the “Candyland” theme, that the music video is fine for children to watch! But whipped cream shooting bras and sexy girl scouts seductively eating an oversize gingerbread cookie is anything but kid-appropriate!

Elmo wants Miss Katy Perry back on Sesame Street! And so does Russell Brand!

And don’t imagine that Solange is OK with the wardrobe choice Katy donned on Sesame Street, either! “And then Elmo and Tits!?” she tweeted. We can’t wait to see what Katy and her protective fiance, Russell Brand, fire back via Twitter!

Solange is absolutely right; I, myself, feel the exact same way about the image that Katy Perry markets to young teenage girls (because let’s be serious, it’s not the 25 and older crowd that’s purchasing her music; it’s the tween-to-teen crowd). Glancing at the video for “Teenage Dream”, one can’t help but question if there was an orgy going on during filming. True, parents are supposed to be the role models for their children; however, let’s not act as though the companies don’t aggressively and PURPOSELY market these images to young people with expendable income and impressionable minds.

are you kidding? this music video was inspired by the beautiful art of will cotton! there was no “orgy” going on!! the only people she allowed on set when she was nude was women and gay men she would not allow anyone else! go to willcotton.com it goes with the whole album idea and concert idea…. SWEETS! these adults these days are so dumb, if you dont want your kids to watch it dont show it or even block it, by god!

Katy Perry is just a caricature that is trying so hard to hide the fact that she is a talentess, tasteless and boring tart that she HAS to do this kind of videos to keep teenage girls interested in her stupid “musical” career… just go away Katy! Eww. There are so many talented people nowadays, that watching this poor-excuse-for-a-entertainer makes my heart ache. C’mon people, wake up and stop supporting this kind of crap!

Solange, the video isn’t meant for children so explain it to the child and move on. You’re in the entertainment business. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that sex sells. It’s sad but true.

Sounds like someone is jealous. I guess when big sis is more famous, much prettier, and more talented than you, all you can do is hate on someone else who’s also more famous, much prettier, and still more talented than you.

i wanted to share the hate on katy b/c she annoys me so much, but then watched the video and changed my mind… and felt guilty for my knee jerk hating of katy, so maybe i’ll change my mind and like her now… lol. in any case, i still think katy is ridiculous, but this video is ridiculously funny. love that snoop is in it. loved the look on katy’s finger when the gummi gave her the finger. pretty funny, all in all… honestly, i might need to rethink my opinion of her. and, beyonce’s sister is just being ridiculous, imho.

Sounds like the real issue was having a smart 5 year old who was clever and defied mom’s wishes. Getting upset because something exists is not a successful way to monitor childrens’ actions behavior. Katy Perry has always had a sexy 50’s pin up girl type image. This video feels like more of the same.
