Kate Winslet was picking up daughter Mia Threapleton from school on Thursday and we were astonished at how much the 9-year-old looks like her mom! Just like another Oscar winner, Reese Witherspoon and her daughter, Ava Phillippe, 11, Kate’s daughter is like a mini-me version of mom — right down to the way they knot their scarves!

Kate, 35, who just finished shooting the HBO mini-series Mildred Pierce in New York, has been seen around town with both her kids (Mia’s younger brother, Joe Mendes, is 6½), perhaps in an effort to ease the tension of her ongoing divorce with Joe’s dad, Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes.
