Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s 4-year-old tomboy is going to be one little international scholar after this school year is through!
Though daddy Brad Pitt may not have been in Budapest on Oct. 4 to take his 4-year-old daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, to her first day of preschool, he arrived in Hungary yesterday (Oct. 7) to be reunited with his partner Angelina Jolie and their six kids. And we’re sure he’ll swing by his kids’ new school — Lycée Français de Budapest Gustave Eiffel — the first chance he gets to learn all about Shiloh’s new French-based international preschool program. HollyBaby.com has all the details!
The school that Shiloh and her siblings, Maddox, Pax and Zahara, are attending is no ordinary school — the facility focuses on teaching its students fluency in different languages, specifically “Hungarian for the non-Hungarians and French for the non French-speaking ones,” according to the school’s website.
Courses are taught in French starting at the preschool level all the way through high school, but for the younger kids, like Shiloh, bilingual assistants are in the classes to aid them in translation.
Shiloh’s age group of 3 to 4-year-olds has a curriculum that touches on five major points: teaching the children to “live together,” to “speak and construct language” and apply it to books, how to “act and express” themselves to the world, to “discover the world” and to “imagine, feel and create!”
The program teaches the children how to express themselves and encourages their natural curiosity to further their studies.
All of this is done through a series of games that focus on speech and vocabulary. Books, art and music are all used as the learning devices.
Shiloh’s preschool facility has five classrooms all equipped with computers, a playground (with swings, a slide, sandboxes and bicycles), a cafeteria and a library!
Wow, once Shiloh is done with preschool, she’s going to be one smart little cookie! And she’s even going to have her own set of friends to hang out with now that she’s actually going to be spending time with other children her own age!
