Eddie the Gun is a pop-rock band that has already made a splash in the London music scene, and now they are ready to take over America!
Eddie the Gun (formerly known as Doll House) burst onto the scene by winning London’s Night “Best Unsigned Act” competition in 2002. Since then, they changed their name and have been discovered by Hollywood director Deon Taylor, who decided to feature them on the soundtrack to his new horror movie Chain Letter! We talked to the band’s lead singer, Camilla Romestrand about dressing up as Santa Claus and the perks of being a rock star!
Here are Six Things You Never Knew About Camilla Romestrand!
As a struggling musician, I once had a job dressing up as Santa Claus. It was particularly funny because I’m a small blonde girl and the other “Santa Claus” I worked alongside was a young Indian boy. You had to see it to believe it.
I was once served breakfast in bed by Prince Harry!
I can only use the toilet in an empty house..
I once pulled a fan from the audience on stage and kissed him during a performance… he was hot! Every job has a perk.
My ritual before I go on stage consists of pinching my nipples and slapping Charlie (our bassist) across the face. It just sets the mood!
I once got on top of the desk at Capitol Records and told the A&R guy to “f**k off.”
