It looks like the Brown family could be looking at a long trial and potential lengthy stay in prison if convicted!
It appears that love does not, in fact, conquer all. Kody Brown and his three wives, Meri, Janelle and Christine could be facing up to five years in prison for committing bigamy! TMZ reports, “The Utah County Attorney has confirmed … the Lehi Police Department has completed their felony bigamy investigation into Kody Brown and his gigantic family — and the case has been turned over to the Utah County Attorney … who will ultimately decide whether or not to charge the family with a crime.”
Kody’s fiancee Robyn cannot be charged, unless of course she enters into a union with Kody. so she may want to delay those wedding plans until this whole investigation is over.
The stars of the incredibly popular new show Sister Wives have admitted they were aware of the risk they were taking by being on the TLC show, which leads one to question the family’s morals. Perhaps these four should have tried to be more aware of the fact that thirteen children could be without their parents for five years. One would think most parents would value that over a shot at television fame.

This is retarded. There is no child abuse and the woman want to be there! I guess we should arrest Hugh Heffner too! Charlie Sheen does it, Oh wait its “cool” when they do it, but illegal when others do it. He is only married on paper to one of the women, the others he had a commitment ceremony for, not a marriage. If they are not breaking tax laws or insurance laws or abuse laws, they should be able to do what they want. There is a difference when there is forced marriages! These woman are willingly going through commitment ceramonies. Goodness leave them alone!
