After a challenging year, the inspirational actress, who played Rose in the iconic film Titanic, is making a fresh start!

Kate Winslet ended her seven-year marriage to director Sam Mendes in March, but the Academy Award-winning actress is ready for a new chapter in her life. Kate is happily situated in New York City, but soon will be headed to Chicago where she will begin filming the thriller Contagion with Matt Damon, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Kate has started dating again and is currently seeing hunky British male model Louis Dowler, 35. She has two children Mia, 10, with her first husband Jim Threapleton, and Joe, 6 ½, with Sam Mendes. “Mia and Joe are not on-set movie kids,” Kate says of her children. “I don’t ever have them hang out in the trailer, because I don’t like the notion that they are sort of beholden to my schedule, not knowing when they’re going to see me. I’d rather, you know, give them a big kiss in the morning before I go off to work.”
