In a shocking new interview, Rihanna blasts BFF Katy & refers to her music as ‘generic pop!’
Rihanna, 22, acted like a rude girl Oct. 1 during an interview with England’s Radio 1 when she bashed her girlfriend Katy Perry. Why would RiRi want to get herself in hot water so close to Katy’s wedding?
“I don’t want that generic pop record that Ke$ha, Katy or Lady Gaga could do,” Rihanna said. She wants her fifth album, Loud, to have its own vibe. But as talented as Rihanna is, it’s NOT a good idea for her to speak badly about other singers (and friends) who are arguably way more successful than her.
It may have just been a case of Rihanna’s mouth working before her brain had a chance to catch up. Either way, we want to know — how should Katy react to this verbal smack down? Should she forgive and forget, or is their friendship finished?

The name Rihanna and talent shouldn’t even be involved in the same sentence! Props to her songwriters, studio engineers, producers, stylists and the rest of her glam squad…See that’s why I stopped liking her because she’s gotten a little too cocky with no talent to stand on…At least be an awesome ARTIST before you speak on other artists SMH…
