The CSI:Miami star is pregnant with her first baby and enjoying every minute of it! But just don’t ask her about her birth plan!
Emily Procter is overjoyed to be pregnant and can’t believe that she only has a few short months left with her baby belly! “I started crying the other day just thinking that the baby is going to leave me soon!” she told People. The 41-year-old and her boyfriend, musician Paul Bryan, are keeping the sex of the baby a secret. “You have this relationship with this person in your belly and it’s really amazing.”
Emily is loving feeling her baby move in her tummy! “It’s really fun at night, because I can see the baby kicking,” says Emily. “I can feel the knee or the foot. The baby is starting to get heavy, and it’s a really incredible feeling. I’m so grateful I get to experience this.”
Along with pregnancy come a lot of physical changes, but Emily, who has already gained 20 pounds, accepts and loves her developing body, “There’s not a stretch mark!”
And now we know why! Emily is the new face of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula stretch mark products and proudly bared her baby bump in Los Angeles while shooting an ad for the line on Sept. 23. She joins a long list of other celeb moms who have shown off their baby bumps in past Palmer’s ad campaigns including Samantha Harris, Laila Ali and Angie Everhart.
“Being in front of the camera requires the ultimate confidence and with the help of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula, I have no doubt that my skin looks and feels its best,” Emily says. She uses Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Tummy Butter on her bump in the morning and the Skin Therapy Oil at night.
But her skin is not the only thing she is focused on. Just like other moms-to-be, the birth plan is something Emily has been anxious about. “It’s one of those things where I’m trying not to be nervous and see what happens,” she says. “I was leaving work the other day and as I was saying goodbye to [CSI: Miami co-star] Eva LaRue, she said, ‘Emily, you’re having a baby!’ And all of a sudden it hit me and yes, I got nervous! So I went home and signed up for CPR! But I try not to get stressed about it. I’m probably going to have this experience only once, so I’m just so thankful.”
