The Gossip Girl star was rocking a hippest, easy hairstyle on the red carpet. Learn how to get the look!

Ok, seriously, how gorgeous does Blake Lively look in this shot? The star was spotted last night at the launch of the Tiffany and Co. eyewear line and was looking rather spectacular: perfect skin, light makeup and the easy hairstyle of the moment: the undone braid. It’s the perfect style for changing weather conditions because no matter what you’re texture, it always looks fabulous. How to get it? Let’s discuss…

This is perhaps the easiest hairstyle known to man and it’s also one of the fastest. Give your hair a once-over with a great lightweight pomade, like Aveda Light Elements Texturizing Creme, which will allow for light hold and definition.  Then, starting near the jawline, braid your hair underhand loosely so it looks loose and easy. Secure the end with a clear elastic, like these Blax Snag Free Clear Hair Elastics. Take a strand of hair toward the bottom and wrap it around the end, then tuck it behind the elastic so it blends. Pull tendrils loose near your face with your fingers and pull the braid to one side. Finish the look with Aveda Air Control Hair Spray, a medium hold spray that will allow your hair to have movement and you’re done! Don’t have long hair? Use clip-ins to try the look, like these Ted Gibson “Lindsay” Full Head Hair Extensions. Just snap it in and try the look!

What do you think? Do you like Blake’s cool ‘do? Vote now!
