LAURA'S LOVE LIFE ADVICE: How Soon Is TOO Soon To Meet Your BF's Parents?

Joe Jonas met new girlfriend Ashley Greene’s parents after just over two months of dating — but I think it’s way too early for them to get so serious!

Say you’ve been hanging out with your new man pretty much non-stop. He sleeps over, you go to the movies, you hold hands and talk about the future. Sweet. But sometimes, especially in Hollywood, you can move way too fast, way too soon — and your relationship might be over before it even began!

Is this the case for Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas? Despite first stepping out together at the London premiere of Ashley’s film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on July 1, she and new BF Joe Jonas didn’t REALLY start to become a couple until August. And although it’s only September, Joe, 21, has already met his GF’s parents!

The 24-year-old starlet took her new man to her hometown of Jacksonville, Fla. earlier this month to meet her family and check out her favorite hometown hangouts. After dinner at California Pizza kitchen, the two were photographed making out at local dive Ritz Bar.

But come on, you two — it’s been just over TWO MONTHS. Granted, Jashley ARE having a Hollywood romance, but even so, I think they’re going to fizzle and burn faster than you can say Breaking Dawn. So for those of you non-Hollywood types, please don’t try this at home! Only introduce your family to someone you think is going to be in the picture for a long time,  someone you love.

A family introduction should – but doesn’t necessarily have – to mean something serious. The only serious thing you can say about Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene after a mere two months of dating is that they are SERIOUSLY attracted to each other — and that’s enough, for now.
