The Brazillian supermodel loves being a new mom and cautions other ladies to make sure they find the right man before they become moms themselves.
Gisele Bundchen is giving advice again! A month after declaring that breastfeeding should be mandatory, the supermodel and mother of 9-month-old son, Benjamin, is sharing her advice about relationships. “I love being a mother,” she told the New York Post’s Page Six. “But before you have children, you have got to make sure you’ve got a great man. You can’t settle for less … someone you love, and who has the same beliefs.”
The supermodel, 30, who courted some controversy this summer when she talked about the idea of mandatory breastfeeding for new moms, hasn’t lost the glow of new motherhood. “It is challenging,” the wife of NFL star Tom Brady said on Sept. 20. “It is different when everything is not about you and your life — now there is someone much more important. It takes some adjusting … But it is so, so wonderful.”
It certainly is wonderful, but her comment about not settling, does that sound a little smug to you? It’s not as bad as the breastfeeding comment, but still, doesn’t it sometimes seem like Gisele lives in a completely different world than the rest of us?
