Katy Perry’s dress sure has stirred up a lot of controversy on Sesame Street, but the fashion world sure doesn’t agree!
The sexy lime green creation stood out as a showstopper during British designer Giles Deacon’s spring 2010 runway presentation.
The fashionistas as MTV’s Style blog discovered the dress’s origins, and it looked just as hot on the runway as it did on Katy! According to the blog, the dress’ sexy design—which prompted Sesame Street to pull the segment in which she wears the dress—features sheer fabric on the cleavage area and a silver bow at the center of the neckline.
But when the dress debuted on the runway, it was even racier! The designer placed a spider—yes, a spider!—in between the model’s cleavage. Clearly he wanted to throw the spotlight on the cleavage—sorry, Sesame Street!

Agreed, its not the DRESS thats the problem. It’s a fine dress but not for wearing on a childrens shows. Again, I am not a prude or anything but come on, there are plenty of dresses that look princess like and cover your whole chest. She could have put the boobs away for one show. So sorry, Bonnie, your a total idiot on this. Quit defending the dress and trying to make it seem like a spider in the cleavage is somehow more racy. Thats not racy and if anything it COVERS the cleavage. Damn, shut up about defending the dress already. It wont air so shut the hell up about it already.
