Get your DVRs set, HollywoodLifers! From Vampire Diaries to Grey’s Anatomy, Thursday nights are the biggest night on television!

With both old AND new shows premiering tonight, Sept. 23, your DVRs are going to be working on overdrive. Luckily, if the thought of traversing the TV universe on the biggest night of the week makes you queasy, I’ve narrowed it down to the top MUST see dramas and comedies of the evening.

8:00

Watch: Vampire Diaries on The CW
Elena (Nina Dobrev), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) take a road trip to Duke University and search through Isobel’s (ALSO Nina Dobrev) research on folklore and paranormal phenomena to see if they can uncover any clues to the mystery surrounding the Lockwood family.

OR

Watch Justin Bieber‘s acting debut on the season premiere of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation! Justin plays a troubled kid who’s trying to protect his older brother, who is responsible for deadly bombings. Beliebers, get excited!

DVR: Community on NBC
My favorite Thursday night comedy is back with a vengeance! Betty White is hysterical as a new professor at the community college, and the rest of the cast, including Joel McHale and Chevy Chase, is more hilarious than ever! The show has reached a new level of awesomeness and you won’t be disappointed, I swear.

Watch on Hulu: My Generation on ABC
Tonight is the series premiere of this Big Chill-esque show, and I think it has some major potential! We catch up with a group of late-twenty-somethings and find out what they’ve been up to since
graduating high school 10 years earlier. There’s real life footage, like 9/11, mixed with fictionalized flashbacks and scenes from “today” in this docu-drama.The cast is hot and the drama is juicy…just the way I like it!

9:00

Watch: Grey’s Anatomy on ABC
After last season’s EPIC finale, we come back to Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital several weeks after the major shootout where every single character’s life – including Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey) and McSteamy (Eric Dane) – was in danger. The premiere episode is called “With You, I’m Born Again,” and we watch the staff react to the shootout in VERY different ways. A MUST WATCH!

DVR: Nikita on The CW
Love this show! Maggie Q is one hot number as butt-kicking former agent Nikita, and the show is drama-filled and action packed! Here’s the summary of the third episode Nikita rescues Jill (you’ll find out who she is this week!), a journalist who is trying to expose a conspiracy involving Division and a major plane crash. Michael and Percy suspect Birkhoff of being Nikita’s inside mole and send Amanda in to interrogate him. Michael enlists the help of the recruits, Alex, Jaden and Thom, to help them locate their latest
target.

Watch on Hulu: The Office on NBC
The Office isn’t my favorite anymore, but I know I’d get murderous emails if I didn’t include it in this list. So…watch your favorite office members, including Steve Carrell and John Krasinski, on Hulu tomorrow morning.

10:00

Watch OR Hulu: Private Practice on ABC
There’s a wedding happening on Private Practice! Here’s the rundown: Pete (Tim Daly) and Violet (Amy Brenneman) anxiously prepare for their wedding day, but Cooper (Paul Adelstein) may have to intervene when emotions and fear of the future run high. Things have taken a surprise turn with Addison (Kate Walsh) and Sam (Taye Diggs), and Naomi (Audra MacDonald) juggles the while worrying about baby daddy Dink’s (Stephen Lunsford) ability to parent. Despite disagreements and deeply-rooted conflicts, the doctors come together to mourn the loss of their friend, Dell (Chris Lowell), who died in last season’s finale.

There you have it — my complete Thursday night lineup! What are YOU watching tonight?
