Vanessa says she finished the red carpet at the G Star show on Sept. 14 so late she was unable to even snag a seat at the venue, let alone dash from her own to try and grab 50 Cent’s front row perch!

Vanessa Simmons is responding to reports that claim the young designer tried to steal the front row seat of 50 Cent at the G Star show during New York Fashion Week and saying it is all a bunch of overblown nonsense! Vanessa told HollywoodLife.com, “We were invited to the show and we went to enjoy ourselves. The red carept was really long and the lights were diming and the lady who escorted us in said our seats were nowhere to be found. I never sat down so I don’t know what happened about the thing about 50 Cents seats.” 50 had to miss the show as he was performing at the Eminem and Jay Z concert.

Soon after entry the lady with the seating chart left the girls and that’s when the chaos began. “It was kind of a mess,” says Vanessa. “We asked the people who were holding the charts and they were all frazzled.”

Vanessa says sis Angela Simmons sat down for one second, in a seat that was definitely not 50 Cent’s, and then the two decided to flee the scene. “I don’t know why it was made into such a big deal –we ended up leaving and got tea across the street and went to the YRB party.”

Vanessa holds no ill will however and says she would gladly attend the show again. “There are no hard feelings,” she explains. “I would go back to another G Star show.”
