All The Details On Lady Gaga's $100 Meat Dress — Cheap, Tacky, And 'Stinking Bad!'

It looks like all it took was a whole bunch of bad meat to put together Gaga’s nauseating MTV Video Music Awards outfit!

She may often be seen in Alexander McQueen dresses that cost up to $10,000, or high fashion heels that cost more than most people’s rent, but for her most elaborate VMAs outfit Lady Gaga paid a very budget price — $100. The Daily News spoke with a butcher about her now infamous meat dress who said, “It’s the cheaper end cuts – not including her. You got about $100 of meat there.” How thrifty of her!

As for the cuts Gaga used, it turns out it was largely the lower end parts of the animal. “There are no expensive cuts here, no real steaks,” said the paper’s source. “The best you’ve got is the flank steak on top of her head.”

The dress took 2 days to sew together according to the designer, Franc Fernandez, and was made using meat he got from his family who are butchers.

One major drawback however — the smell! “”It ain’t refrigerated. It’s probably stinking bad. She’s in the lights: It’s cooking.” Cher must have been none too happy getting that hug from Gaga Sept. 12!

How do you feel about Gaga’s dress Hollywoodlifers? High fashion triumph or huge mi-steak?

Why, why, why, does the media label her as a fashion icon?! Fashion disaster is more like it. I think it is to detract from her not so attractive face and melancholy personality. She is obviously going for the shock value in all her costume clothes. The meat dress has already been done. Ever see the painting ‘Incarnation’ by Mark Ryden? Go to YouTube to see it. This article is also a MUST READ!

She totally lost it, lets call it Mad Gaga Disease and her next trick at the 2011 VMAs — her dress will be made out of worms and magots

This is art. It does not matter if the meat was cheap, real or not; Franc Fernandez is a great artist and so is Lady Gaga (eventhough, I don’t like her music).

It’s already been established that the “meat” was not real. HollywoodLife, you really need to wake up.

I heard it wasn’t even real. If it was real, there would be bugs, it would smell and I doubt it would even stay together like that.

Gross! If it’s real meat that hadn’t been refrigerated and under the lights… where are the flies swarming around her?
