There’s nothing in the world that’s more important than the health and well-being of Christina’s unborn baby – but she IS considering a return to Broadway!
Because Christina Applegate is about to become a mom for the first time, she’s understandably protective about her unborn child. Not only does she hold her cute little bump to keep it from harm, but she also confirmed to us that looking out for her baby-to-be takes precedence over everything else!
“The baby being healthy is the top priority right now,” the 38-year-old Going the Distance star told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the Surf Rider Foundation event in Malibu, Calif. Sept. 11.
“I’m feeling good, really good,” she added, before saying that she hopes her child grows up with a conscience and will keep the environment clean. “I hope this baby knows how important this – the ocean – is, [that] this is where we live and how we need to respect it.”
With fiance – and baby daddy – Martyn Lenoble standing by her side for support, Christina DID confess that she has a few future plans, when baby Applegate is healthy, happy and safe. “[I'm not planning on returning to Broadway] any time soon, but I have dreams of it all the time,” the actress, who was nominated for a Tony after appearing in 2005′s Sweet Charity, confided, adding, “Maybe once I get my body back in gear.”
